At The Studio…
Dancing is fun at any age!
Whether you are just starting out or whether you danced as a child and haven't put on your tap shoes in years, now is your chance to experience the joy of dancing!
Our youngest tappers will be introduced to the basic steps: the flap, the shuffle, the ball-change, and various toe-heel steps. We will be reinforcing left and right, as well as learning how to listen and count out basic beats.
Our Advanced Beginners and Adults will learn all of the amazing ways we can combine the basic steps of tap. We will be exploring more complicated rhythms and footwork, while working on accuracy and speed.
This year, Lacordaire is also offering Pre-Ballet for our youngest students, as well as a Jazz class.
Dance teacher Mrs. Carrie Greenberg is delighted to offer 6 dance classes this fall.
